We Support Canadian Cancer Society in the Fight Against Breast Cancer.   As a company we think it’s socially responsible to give back to non-profit organizations.

Why we choose to support “Breast Cancer”?

As for the personal side of it, my family has a strong history of cancer. I’ve had cousins, aunts, grandmother & great aunt with breast cancer, thankfully all survivors. I lost an uncle to colon cancer, and currently have an uncle fighting prostate cancer.

I myself am a cancer survivor. We chose Breast Cancer in particular because it affects so many of us. We all know a mother, sister, daughter, niece, etc that has been affected by this. It’s very important for us to know that we are giving back and think it’s something all businesses should think about doing. Find a cause that means something to you, and support it.

Future Non-Profits we Plan to Support

Helping outside of renting our pink ribbon bin is easy. Walk/Run for the cure. Volunteer on race day. Contact the Cancer Society to see how you can help. They are always in need of volunteers. Find an event in your area that you can participate in or volunteer to help out with. Share your survivor stories with others that are going through it.

In the near future, we’d like to start a similar project where the money would go to help critically ill children. Whether it be through POGO, Jennifer Ashleigh Foundation, it’s something that is also very important to us.

How to Support our “Pink Bin”?

If someone would like to book the pink ribbon bin in particular, when you book online and/or phone us, simple request the “pink” bin.   They may have to wait for several days, or possibly weeks if it is already out, but can book our regular bin and have it within 2-3 hours. Of course, they can also call our office to book the bin as well.
